Two Ways to Look at the Supper Two Ways to Look at...  |   |  Tom Hufty

The church has changed in so many ways since New Testament times, but we still face many of the same issues, because the church is still made up of sinners. One thing that has not changed, because we are sinners, is the need for self-examination. The Bible tells us to do this before celebrating the most special of traditions, the Lord’s Supper (1 Corinthians 11:28). Pastor Tom shows us how the need for self-examination can be seen through the problems experienced by the early church and helps us understand the hindrances we can face as we examine ourselves, in everyday life and in preparation for the Lord’s Supper. | 1 Corinthians 1:10 – 11; 5:1 – 2; 8:4; 11:5; 11:28 (NIV)
