If you're a Goer, you're a valiant messenger, courageous enough to step out of your comfort zone and carry the message of God's love to others in our community, across our nation, and around the globe. You're very hands-on and don't mind getting your fingers dirty while you make a difference in others' lives. Whether you prefer to mold the minds of children or you like to build things from the ground up, there are plenty of opportunities available for you to get your hands-on fix, right here at FBMaryville. Just click on an image below to see how.

Dominican Republic | Teacher Training

July 5 - 10

God has taken a blank canvas, and He has started laying out the colors and tools needed to create a beautiful picture! Ina York has a vision of improving the education offered to the children in the village of Cercadillo. As a team, we had NO idea of how to go about doing this. Through prayer and Bible study, God revealed what approach should be taken. In 2015, our team had the opportunity to build relationships with the teachers and introduce the teaching techniques during mini workshops. In 2016, we look forward to seeing what God has in store as we continue to strengthen those same relationships and go deeper with our training during 3, full-day workshops. We are in the very early stages of this mission, but we know that God has a masterpiece planned!
