Our Mission

Women’s Bible Studies provide a place for women to belong, to feel accepted, and focus on what is important--their walk with God. These small groups grow together in God’s Word, encouraging and supporting one another along the way.

We Serve

Due to the content of some studies, all women, age 18 and over can participate in Women's Bible study.

We Meet

Bible studies are usually held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in the fall, winter, and spring. We have evening classes and morning classes available to fit all schedules.

Really Bad Girls of the Bible

Monday Mornings | 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Location: Room B107
Dates: June 5, 2017 - August 7, 2017
Bible Study Cost: $20 (includes book and workbook)
Childcare: Not Provided

Women everywhere marvel at the “Good Girls” in Scripture. We admire the faithfulness of Ruth, the courage of Esther, and the humility of Mary. Yet when we look in our hearts, we may find the selfishness of Sapphira, the deception of Delilah, or Jezebel’s take-charge pride instead! What’s a Good Girl to do? Learn from our biblical sisters and their disastrous mistakes, and by God’s grace, choose a better, more redemptive path. Based on Liz Curtis Higgs’ book Bad Girls of the Bible, this DVD driven class explores the lives of ten of the Bible’s best-known femme fatales. With humor and honesty, Higgs teaches women of all ages how to live (and how not to live!), drawn from the lives of several ancient women from Scripture.

Armor of God

Tuesday Mornings | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: Room D118
Dates: June 6, 2017 - July 25, 2017
Cost: $13 (includes book and workbook)

All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you - unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study by Priscilla Shirer is for you.

Anything

Wednesday Mornings | 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: Room B107
Cost: $16
Childcare: Not Provided

Safe, comfortable, happy. Words we all love. Feelings we want. Even crave. We may love God but being that he’s invisible, words like comfortable see to feel better faster. We are all chasing something. Our hearts were made to run hard and fast after things that move us. But as a generation we are all beginning to stir and wake up, identifying that these words don’t satisfy for long, especially when compared to God. If God is real, and we are going to live with Him forever, shouldn’t He be everything?

Caught in this familiar haze of worldly happiness and empty pursuits, Jennie Allen and her husband Zac prayed a courageous prayer of abandonment that took them on the adventure God had written for them. Anything is a prayer of surrender that will spark something. A prayer that will move us to stop chasing things that just make us feel happy and start living a life that matters. A life that is surrendered, reckless and courageous.

He Speaks to Me

Thursday Evenings | 6:30 - 8 p.m.
Location: Room B107
Dates: June 1, 2017 - July 27, 2017
Cost: $13

Why do we settle for the Word of the Lord revealed to someone else and passed on to us as if God does not speak to us individually? This shouldn't satisfy us. He wants us to hear His voice, understand and obey. The Lord desires to speak to us personally. He wants to meet us where we are despite who we are and reveal His will for our lives. Come join this group of women as we discover how to deepen our relationship with Christ.
