Baptism

We believe that baptism is a symbolic representation of one's spiritual union with Jesus (Romans 6:3 - 11). We believe in baptism by immersion, as described to us in the Bible (Mark 1:5, Mark 1:9 - 10, Acts 8:38 - 39).

Baptisms are typically performed at the beginning of each Worship service on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings. Special arrangements can be made for those with special needs.

Contact Linda Garcia at 618.667.8221 x107.

You will be given a t-shirt for you to keep and wear while getting baptized. We suggest wearing shorts that would be easy to wring out when wet. We also suggest for you to bring a plastic bag for your wet clothes, a towel to dry off with, an outfit to change into once dry, and any other personal items you may need (blow dryer, brush or comb, deodorant, etc.).

When entering the church at the Main Entrance, your baptism host/hostess, wearing a red polo shirt, will greet you in the Lobby to assist you through the baptism process and help you with any needs you may have.
