Join us at Serenity for our 3nd annual family missions experience as we host and facilitate a kids’ summer camp for inner-city kids. Campers will enjoy this overnight experience as we dig deeper into God’s Word through Bible study, high-energy worship, organized games, crafts, and of course, lake activities!
July 7 - 13
Entering their 5th year, this team will serve the Cercadillo Village by providing a baseball camp for children from ages 8 - 17. Through this camp, we establish lasting relationships with our Dominican Republic friends and encourage them to share the Gospel, grow in their faith, and lead in the community.
Entering their 5th year, this group of educators will serve the Cercadillo community by mentoring teachers at a local school. Through daily workshops, the team will provide practical training in literacy techniques and classroom management. Their goal is to help meet basic needs in education while sharing Jesus’ love.
Bikers and non-bikers are invited to participate in a booth run by the South Dakota Baptist Convention. Bikers come from all over the world to this event. Come share the gospel and be part of this incredible journey.
January 18-24, 2020
This team will teach local pastors basic first-aid as well as equip pastors in leadership development. This mission needs 4 - 5 team members to serve on the medical team along with an additional 4 - 5 team members for leadership development.
September 30 - October 6
Club 180 is a ministry that helps meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of children and youth in the coal-mining community of Harlan County, KY. The mission focus for this team is two-fold. One team will provide assistance for ongoing repairs and construction needs for the Club 180 facility, while the other team will provide support for the weekly programming, activities, and outreach events for Club 180 and the Rivers Edge church plant.
Dominican Republic | Construction Trip
This team will serve the Cercadillo Village by assisting to improve the living conditions of low-income families by building quads (bath houses) which will serve as a place where families can bathe and maintain personal hygiene. 8 - 10 team members will be needed for this trip.
Dominican Republic | Medical Trip
January 19-24, 2020
This medical team will be training women from the Cercadillo Village on medical care; including advanced first-aid training. This intensive training will equip the village women to care for basic medical needs in their community. Their goal is to minister to the physical needs of the villagers while extending compassion and encouragement.
