  • When are worship services?

    Our worship services are on Sunday mornings at 8:30, 9:45 & 11 a.m.

    The Sunday morning services are also available online.

  • Where do I find information about receiving support?

    Our church is intentional about ministering to those going through tough times in their lives. Whether you need short-term financial assistance, car maintenance, or just need to bond with someone who understands what you're going through, we're here for you.

    Does the church help those who are struggling financially?

    Yes. Our Benevolence Ministry provides short-term financial support for church members and non-member local residents. There are also various events and ministries throughout the year that offer help to those who are unemployed or facing other financial difficulties.

  • What does the church believe about baptism?

    We believe that baptism is a symbolic representation of one's spiritual union with Jesus (Romans 6:3 - 11). We believe in baptism by immersion, as described to us in the Bible (Mark 1:5, Mark 1:9 - 10, Acts 8:38 - 39).

     When are baptisms?

    Baptisms are held one Sunday a month during one of our services. Special arrangements can be made for those with special needs.

    How do I schedule a baptism?

    What do I wear for a baptism?

    You will be given a t-shirt for you to keep and wear while getting baptized. We suggest wearing shorts that would be easy to wring out when wet. We also suggest for you to bring a plastic bag for your wet clothes, a towel to dry off with, an outfit to change into once dry, and any other personal items you may need (blow dryer, brush or comb, deodorant, etc.). 

    What should I expect on my baptism day?

    When entering the church at the Main Entrance, your baptism host/hostess, wearing a red polo shirt, will greet you in the Lobby to assist you through the baptism process and help you with any needs you may have.

  • Where do I find information about the Track or Weight Room?

    The FBM Indoor Track & Weight Room provide facilities for all adults to exercise. For more information about our exercise facilities, email Emily Smith at esmith@fbmaryville.org. 

  • How do I add a request to the Prayer List?

    You can call the church office at 618.667.8221.

    If I request for prayer, will it be kept confidential?

    Details of your request will only be shared with the church staff, unless you let us know you wish otherwise.

    Who prays for requests on the Prayer List?

    The church staff prays through the prayer list each week.

  • Where do I find information about activities for children?

    Click on the “Get Involved” link at the top of our website and select the ministry you want to learn more about. Children’s events will also appear on our Events page.
