The Director is the “Living Curriculum” and should be a model for students, parents and staff in speech, conduct, relationships, work habits and devotion to Christ.
All applicants must have a personal relationship with Christ, and be a member of First Baptist Church of Maryville that regularly participates in corporate worship, personal Bible Study, church volunteer work and have an active prayer life. Must hold a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education. Must have at least 5 years of Early Childhood classroom teaching experience. Have experience with processing payroll and managing employees. Must be up to date on CPR certification.

Provides dependable, safe, secure, and nurturing care to children ages 0-5 years in a clean environment. Responsible for providing age-appropriate care which includes, but is not limited to, maintaining a safe environment, feeding, changing diapers, escorting children to the bathroom, and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, play, and prayer.
Supervised by the Preschool Ministry Director and/or Preschool Ministry Assistants.

First Baptist Church of Maryville is looking for a skilled person with building trades experience who will assume responsibility for our church facilities and property management. This person will need to be self motivated with skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC service, and computer networking equipment. Basic computer skills will be required with spreadsheet and word processing experience. Must be able to keep records, monitor building related budgets, work with service contractors, and communicate well with others. This person must not be afraid of high work on ladders or work platforms. Anyone applying for this position must be a believer, and if hired be willing to become a member of the First Baptist Church of Maryville.
