Spring is just around the corner! Each new season brings with it all new challenges. The challenges we face in one season will prepare us for the next. No matter what phase in life we are in, God is teaching us and molding us to be more like Christ. This Sunday, we will explore how we can stay connected with God through the challenges we face and phases we go through.

Week 9
What is your vision? 20/20? How about your spiritual vision? Can you see who Jesus is and understand what He wants? This weekend we will take a close look at the vision of the disciples and how they often did not have a clear vision of who Jesus was. Could that be true of us?

Week 8
Last weekend we finished the message with a question about our hearts. This weekend we will continue the theme of dealing with what is in our hearts. Through the Scriptures, we will Walk With Jesus and consider four pointed conversations He had with various groups and individuals. It is about to get interesting. See you at church.

Week 7
This weekend we continue our series on Walking With Jesus. We will look at three examples of Jesus deputizing His disciples to spread the good news that God loves people and wants to include them in His family. They will have some unbelievable experiences.

Week 6
We all go through crisis. Some are small and some are huge. We often determine the size largely based on whether we are going through the crisis or we are watching someone else go through it. This weekend in our Walking With Jesus series, we will walk with Jesus through crisis. We will see how He managed the crisis, but even more than that we will discover how we are to face crisis in our own lives. See you this Sunday as we Walk With Jesus, through crisis.

This weekend we will have DNOW for the students. Our theme is Truly Free and we will explore what it means to be free in Christ and how that should look when we live it out. This Sunday, we will look at that truth for ourselves as well.

This weekend we take a short break from our series, Walking With Jesus. We will come back to it in a couple of weeks, but this Sunday we will pause, to talk about Grace. Is there really any better subject to talk about? I don’t think so. See you Sunday!

Week 5
This weekend we continue our series, Walking With Jesus. Hasn’t this been fun? There is no one more interesting than our Savior. This weekend we will hear one of Jesus’ parables, and it will, like all of His teachings, help us see where we are in our relationship with Him. Don’t miss this weekend as we discover His role and our role in this life.

Week 4
When it comes to your relationship with Jesus, are you more of a fan, a follower, or a family member? This weekend we continue our series, Walking With Jesus. It will be another eye-opening message that will help us evaluate how close we are walking to Jesus.

Week 3
If you were going to write a job description for the Messiah what would be some of the bullet point responsibilities? This weekend we will discover some people who decided Jesus did not fit their Messiah mold. Through this weekend’s discussion we will see how Jesus handled those who had the wrong ideas about Him. We will also learn how the right view of Jesus can renovate your life. You won’t want to miss it. See you at church this weekend.

Week 2
You go to the theatre. You get a box of popcorn. You find your seats. It is a 7:15 movie but the movie doesn’t start at 7:15. Do you know what starts? The Trailers. Did you know that God is including you as a character in His Kingdom trailer? The way we live as believers is to be a preview of God’s coming Kingdom. This weekend we will discover more about our role in the trailer as we learn to Walk With Jesus. See you at church.

Week 1
This weekend we begin a new series for 2022. It is called, Walking With Jesus. Through this series we will meet people who walked with Jesus. We will see their successes and their failures. This first week we will learn all about what it means to turn and to trust. All Jesus’ followers must do these two things in order to walk with Him. Don’t miss this first installment of Walking With Jesus. We’ll see you this weekend.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!! This weekend we start off the year by taking a look at our ONE WORD for 2022. Your word is important and when you are intentional about keeping it in front of you throughout the year, it can change your focus and direction. See you this weekend as we explore the power of ONE WORD.

Each year, at fbmaryville we do an exercise at the start of the year. We choose one word that will guide our lives for the upcoming year. We share that word on the first Sunday of the new year. So this weekend, we will begin thinking about what word you might choose. We will turn our attention to that “one thing” you need to turn your focus too in 2022.

Celebrate again with us by watching our Christmas Eve service. It was such a joyous time as we came together to celebrate the birth of our Savior.

Week Four
This weekend, we wrap up our series, A Season of Focus. Hopefully, the Christmas story characters, their songs and prayers, and the journal time have helped make this a meaningful Christmas that has helped you focus on the Savior. This weekend we will look to the Shepherds, and how they can help us focus on the One who came to save us. See you at church.

This weekend we continue our Christmas series, A Season of Focus. We will focus at two characters from the Christmas story. They are in the background of the narrative, yet they have a simple message for each of us during this Christmas season. Look for Him and you will find Him. One did, and one didn’t. Last weekend we started our Christmas series, A Season of Focus. If you were with us I hope you have been able to write in your journal every day this week. If you haven’t, please do not be discouraged. We are all in process. This weekend we will look at four actions of God that will help you and add value to your life. See you this weekend as we grow together. Oh yeah, and don’t forget your journal.

Week 1
Do you sometimes have trouble focusing? The art of being intentional sometimes needs to be developed. This weekend we begin a new series, A Season of Focus. As we move into the Christmas season we do not want to miss anything that God has for us, so we are going to focus like never before. This will be a series like no other. See you this weekend.

Did you have a designated seat at the dinner table growing up? What did you do at the dining room table besides eat? Tables can be significant in our lives. Most of us have memories of tables and what we did and said when we gathered around them. This weekend, we will figuratively gather around a table to talk about the most important event in history. We’ll see you at church as we gather around the table.
