Who's Your One? | Week 3
Nothing communicates like stories. In fact, that is probably why Jesus told so many stories to get His point across. This weekend we will look at the real story of a group of man who had one person they wanted to get to Jesus. It was amazing the lengths they went to in order for this man's life to change. Come this weekend and be encouraged on how you can make a difference in YOUR ONE's life by simply bringing them to Jesus.
Who's Your One? | Week 2
This weekend we continue our series "Who's Your One?" We will take a look at what awaits all of us in the future. Remember this weekend, come with "your one" in mind. You will not want to miss this special and meaningful service.
Who's Your One? | Week 1
This weekend we are going to launch a new series called WHO’S YOUR ONE? This series will provide a foundation for our WHO’S YOUR ONE weekend, February 22-23. It is this time of year that people start thinking about what they want to accomplish in the coming year. Typically, you will hear people say, my new year’s resolution is… or, this is the year for… So, how would you finish that statement? As a church we want all our friends to go to heaven. So how about this year we finish this statement: This is the year I am going to share my faith with… How would you finish that statement? Who is the one person you cannot imagine being in heaven without? Who do you love enough to share your faith with this year? This year could change eternity.
A New Thing
The new year often brings us to a time of reflection of what God has done and how we have responded over the past year. Sometimes we look at this time and think all we did wrong and all the resolutions we didn't keep. We may feel like we have disappointed God. But God wants to take our lives and and make them new. As we approach the new year, Nate Bock will be leading us through a time of reflection, prayer and invitation for the Holy Spirit to bring a fresh start to our lives in the new year.
Peace | Week 4
This weekend before Christmas will no doubt be filled with activity. So this weekend at church we want to stop and look at the Christmas story from the perspective of those who were there that first Christmas night. Why? Because in all the activity of the present we sometimes miss the peace He offers. For through His story we can discover His peace in this busy world.
Peace | Week 3
What better way to develop peace in your life than take your cues from the Prince of Peace. This weekend we will take a close look at Jesus and how He handled anxious times. His simple but profound way of approaching life will help us move toward an anxious-free and experience His peace.
Peace | Week 2
How do you manage your thoughts? The Bible tells us that our thoughts can shape our lives. Therefore, what you do with your thoughts is extremely important. This weekend we will learn how our thoughts are related to the level of peace we have in our lives. If you want peace, you have to learn to control your thoughts. Come this weekend to learn how to manage your thought life and experience more peace.
Peace | Week 1
This weekend we begin our Christmas Series on PEACE. Christmas time can be one of the most stressful and anxious times of the year. This year we want to help address how God can help us with the stress and actually give us peace in the middle of anxious times.
It's a Thanksgiving Miracle
Thanksgiving is often considered the forgotten holiday. Maybe that is the reason so many today forget to say thank you when they receive something. Or, maybe its a deeper problem. Could it be our self-centeredness crowds out gratefulness in our lives. This weekend we will focus on giving thanks. We will take a close look at a Thanksgiving Miracle.
The Lord's Supper
Do you like second chances? The Bible is filled with stories of people who blew it and then got another chance. The reality is we all need another chance. We all have a propensity to mess up. But God is gracious, longsuffering and forgiving. He is the author of the second chance. This weekend we will celebrate the life of another chance.
