Happy Father’s Day! This weekend we are honored to have Zac Hufty as our guest speaker. Zac is the son of Pastor Tom and Rhonda. He is married to Nicole and they have three daughters. Zac serves as a Minister of Campus Development for Houston’s First Baptist Church in Houston, TX. You won’t want to miss Zac’s message on how to leave a Godly legacy. Last Sunday we started a new series called, Meals With The Master. We will continue this series as we unpack another meal that did not go as the host expected. Also, we have a big surprise as a part of the summer series to announce, so you won’t want to miss it. See you this weekend.

Week 1

I love to eat. I assume you enjoy it as well. Meals are a part of life and they can be even more enjoyable and nourishing when they are enjoyed with someone you love. But what if you had the chance to have a meal with Jesus - the One who knows you best and loves you most? We are beginning a new series called, Meals With The Master. I am sure we can learn a lot from sitting around the table with Jesus. See you this weekend.

We live in a society full of outrage, where loud and angry voices seem to be the only ones that are heard. However, this is not how things have to be. This Sunday we will explore how a gentle answer can change the world.

This weekend we close our series on When Life Doesn’t Make Sense. In this final session together, we will see how making sense out of life comes down to recognizing and responding to Four Roles God Plays in Our Lives. This weekend we continue our series called When Life Doesn’t Make Sense. As we consider the words of the writer of Ecclesiastes, we can discover a way of life that makes sense when life doesn’t. Happy Mother's Day! This weekend, we will be taking a quick break from our current series to celebrate the amazing women who love us so well. To honor Mother's Day, we will hear straight from a wonderful FBM mom - Rhonda Hufty. As Tom interviews Rhonda, we will be sure to gain wisdom from such a godly woman and mother. Last weekend was great! We celebrated the resurrection and saw people respond to God’s saving grace. What a wonderful God we serve! This weekend we begin a new series called When Life Doesn’t Make Sense. Have you ever wondered why there are seasons of life that we go through that we cannot understand? This weekend we begin this journey of trying to make sense out of life. We will discover some unnerving and at the same time some amazing truths through this study. Let’s get started. This weekend we continue our series on Believing, by participating in the Lord’s Supper. We typically do this on Palm Sunday but this weekend we are connecting the service with the theme that Jesus is giving us a Reason to Believe through how He teaches His disciples in the upper room. What are you searching for? Peace? Prosperity? Recognition? From time to time we are all searching for something, and we often think, if I could have that thing, I would have everything I need. Is that really true? This weekend, we will unpack a character in the Bible who was on a search, but his search needs to be refined. Maybe yours does too. Today we begin a new series called Reasons To Believe. We will explore several encounters of our Savior in the book of John. All this will lead us to Easter when Jesus encountered death and overcame the grave, for you and me. Please don’t miss the beginning of this series as we learn and strengthen our faith together. Love. The word is used in many different ways today, e.g. I love my wife, I love candy bars, I love the mountains, I love the beach, I love my dog, etc. Sometimes the overuse of a word dilutes its meaning. Because LOVE is such an important word, this weekend we will unpack the true meaning of love. We will also consider how important it is for us to understand it, so we can practice it in our daily lives.
