This weekend we begin a new series called, HABITUAL. We all have habits that shape our lives. Some of us have bad habits we haven’t broken yet. This weekend we will discover what some of those habits may be and how God can help us overcome their destructive patterns in our lives. Make sure you catch the beginning of this series. There are a lot of mixed messages out there today which can be confusing. Fortunately for us, God is very clear about who He is and clear about what he wants for His followers. Join us this weekend as we see the manner in which God has and is making Himself known to the world and how we can respond.

Giving is at the heart of Christianity. In fact, Christianity is all about giving. God GAVE His one and only Son. So, God is the ultimate Giver, and His desire is that we would follow His example. This weekend we will take a little side road in our series. We will still talk about a King and people in power, but we will shift to the New Testament and look at the last days of Jesus on earth. He had some interesting encounters with powerful people in those last hours on earth. We will also observe the Lord’s Supper this weekend. This is always a special time together. See you are church!

Someone said to me last weekend, “I must admit, taking time to study these Kings (and soon a couple of Queens) has been interesting and fun. This weekend we will look at another King who had a lot going for him, but the legacy he left was not what he wanted. Everyone has a “past.” Did you know that your connection to the past can guide your future? You’ve probably heard the saying, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Well, God’s Word is a record of His activity in the past and it can certainly guide your future!
