Leadership Luncheon March 2023

  • First Baptist Maryville 7110 Illinois 162 Maryville, IL 62062 United States (map)

Join us for Leadership Luncheon!

In 2017, a group of businessmen and women began meeting to hear and share practical aspects of leadership. We have heard local, national, and international leaders share their stories of triumphs and failures as they lead their teams toward productivity and success. For three years, these leaders in our region and community gathered for an hour for lunch and a conversation about leadership. In 2020, due to COVID, our Leadership Luncheons ceased to meet. But, I have great news! We are starting the Leadership Luncheon again! Our relaunch for the luncheon will be Thursday, March 2, from noon to 1 p.m.

To attend, this is what you need to do the following:

 1) Please email or call Sandra (srosenthal@fbmaryville.org) at 618.667.8221 to let us know that you plan to attend and we will make your reservation.

2) If you would like to bring a friend, please give us their name and we will reserve a spot for your friend as well.

3) Show up at FBMaryville, 7110 State Route 162, Maryville, IL, at noon, on March 2. Come through the main entrance. You will be greeted at the door and given instructions for the meal and the program. We will be sitting around tables in the main auditorium.

We have this understanding as we gather for the Leadership Luncheon:

No one in the room knows all there is to know about leadership.

No one in the room can solve all the issues you face as a leader.

However, if we can hang out with one another and walk away with a nugget of inspiration, or one creative idea that helps us grow as a leader, our time is well invested.

If you have not attended a Leadership Luncheon in the past, please consider blocking out the March 2 lunch hour to invest in your leadership growth. The topic that day will be Managing Tough Conversations which is a skill every leader needs in their toolbox.

When leaders get better, organizations get better, when organizations get better, communities get better, and when communities get better, the world gets better.
