Our Mission

Maryville Christian Learning Center provides a nurturing, Christ-centered preschool experience where children are known, loved, and encouraged to grow.

Through purposeful, hands-on learning and developmentally appropriate experiences, we nurture the spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development of each child. We partner with families to build a strong foundation for kindergarten and a lifelong love of learning while helping children grow in faith and character.

We Serve

MCLC serves children beginning at age 2 through Pre-K and their families throughout our surrounding communities.

We believe the preschool years are an important time of growth and discovery. Our experienced teachers provide loving, age-appropriate learning environments where children can build relationships, develop independence, explore God's world, and gain the skills and confidence they need for their next steps.

We Meet

Maryville Christian Learning Center is located in the Preschool Area of First Baptist Maryville. Our school year runs from August through May, with classes meeting Monday through Thursday.

Class placement is based on each child's age and developmental stage, with age eligibility determined as of September 1.

2-Year-Old Preschool

Our 2-Year-Old Preschool provides a gentle introduction to the classroom experience in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment. Children learn through play, exploration, music, Bible experiences, hands-on activities, and daily opportunities to develop language, independence, social skills, and classroom routines.

Our 2-year-old students attend two days per week, with attendance limited to no more than 10 hours per week.

Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday

Families may choose a 1 p.m. pick-up or a 2:30 p.m. pick-up. Children who nap remain until 2:30 p.m.

3-Year-Old Preschool

Our 3-Year-Old Preschool builds upon children's growing independence, curiosity, and love of learning. Through hands-on experiences, learning centers, Bible instruction, creative play, early literacy and math, fine-motor development, and social-emotional learning, children develop important skills while experiencing the joy of learning.

We offer 2-, 3-, and 4-day options for our 3-year-old students. Classes meet from 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m., with an optional 1 p.m. pick-up for children who do not nap.

2-Day Options: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
3-Day Option: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
4-Day Option: Monday–Thursday

Pre-K – 4- & 5-Year Olds

Our Pre-K program provides an intentional, engaging learning experience designed to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten while continuing to nurture the whole child.

Children strengthen early literacy and math skills, writing and fine-motor development, independence, executive-function skills, social-emotional growth, and classroom readiness through purposeful, developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Most importantly, Biblical truth is woven throughout the preschool experience as children learn about God's love and what it means to grow in Christ-like character.

All Pre-K classes meet from 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

2-Day Options: Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
3-Day Options: Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday
4-Day Option: Monday–Thursday

Kidzone
KidZone provides optional before- and after-school care for eligible MCLC students. KidZone offers families additional flexibility while providing children with a familiar, supervised environment before and after their regular preschool day.
