Volunteer Roles
Greeters | Welcome each donor with a warm smile, guide them through the drop-off process, and help create a joyful, friendly atmosphere as well as help donors complete their Drop-off Form, connect and pray with them.
Cartonizers and Packers | Assist with unloading, organizing, and packing shoeboxes into cartons. If you’re able to lift 40 lbs or more, we’d especially love your help in this role — that’s where we need extra hands! You do not need to be able to lift 40 lbs to volunteer for this role, but it is helpful to have a few who can at each scheduled time.
What Is Operation Christmas Child?
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Since 1993, more than 220 million children in over 170 countries have received shoebox gifts filled with love, joy, and the message of Jesus Christ.
Each shoebox gift is distributed through local churches around the world, giving children and their families the opportunity to hear and experience the Good News of Jesus in a powerful, personal way.
