VBS is a totally FREE event for children age 4 – grade 6.

This year’s VBS is Illumination Station. This VBS theme invites children to explore Jesus' question to His disciples: "Who do you say that I am?" As kids discover the power of light to brighten, reflect, and reveal, they'll see how Jesus is more than just a good man or teacher—He is the Son of God, the Light of the World. VBS is easily one of our church’s favorite weeks all year and it will be the perfect start to your child’s summer! We can’t wait to see you at VBS 2026 - Illumination Station!

VBS Volunteer Meeting 2026 | Illumination Station

We are so excited about VBS, but we can’t do it without you! All VBS volunteers, please join us for our one and only volunteer meeting. You will be given an overview of what VBS is going to be like this year and details about your volunteer role. If you have any questions about your volunteer role, please contact us at vbs@fbmaryville.org. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting and to another great week at VBS!

If you haven’t signed up to volunteer, please do so using the link below (after April 5) and plan to attend the volunteer meeting at 6 p.m. on May 31 in the Chapel. Childcare will be available for Infants through Grade 6 for this meeting. Please fill out the form on the VBS Volunteer Meeting page to request childcare.

VBS Shirts

The link to order your VBS shirts will be in your registration confirmation email. 2026 VBS Shirts must be ordered by May 17 to guarantee sizes. If you choose not to preorder your shirts, additional limited quantities will be available for purchase during the week of VBS.
