Joys of Serving

I enjoy playing a part in the life-change of people through sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. When people begin to own their faith to where it impacts their lifestyle and the lives of others that inspires me. I also am thrilled to develop leaders who will touch a day I will never see.

Purpose

To know God and to make Him look good. To me that means to make Him look good as a person, as a partner to my wife, as a parent to my children, and as a proclaimer of truth.

Life Verse

Proverbs 3:5-6

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight."

Joys of Serving

The greatest joys of serving are found in doing life with our teams, telling stories and seeing lives changed. Hope is an inextinguishable reality; it's an honor to have the freedom to express this reality in our music and art so that those who've lost it can find it.

Purpose

Encouraging artistic expression that is creative and glorifying to God, that inspires congregational singing, is central to my purpose at FBMaryville. In God, truth, beauty and goodness find their purist expressions; therefore, the art we create should overflow with this purity. Music and art themselves will not bring us closer to God; however, they can be powerful tools for communicating truth in a meaningful way.
